Hi, I’m mirah pittman

I’ve spent my life moving between different worlds. I am curious about the human experience from the perspective of history, culture, and identity. My own journey has taken me from military leadership to entrepreneurship to building community around wholeness.

I’m endlessly curious about how we become who we are. What do we inherit? What do we question? What stories shape us? And what happens when we become curious enough to look beyond the answers we were given?

That curiosity is the foundation of The Curious Root, a space for essays, conversations, interviews, and discoveries at the crossroads of where we come from and who we are becoming.

I believe our roots explain where we begin, but our curiosity shapes where we go. The Curious Root is my invitation to explore that space together with openness, thoughtful questions, and a willingness to be changed by what we discover.
